Where in the world is Austin Mayor Steve Adler?

The best piece of evidence is a tweet from Frank Jensen, the lord mayor of Copenhagen, Denmark, who posted on social media Monday that he was meeting with Adler, two other mayors and U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx “to discuss green solutions in #greatercph.”

It’s all part of the Smart City Challenge, a federal competition in which U.S. cities compete for $50 million by pitching innovative, technology-focused solutions to traffic problems. Austin is one of seven finalists.
