Decarbonizing Cities by Utilizing Data

The Nordic Missions in Silicon Valley have organized a US-Nordic dialogue on Decarbonizing Cities by Utilizing Data.

Wednesday, November 17, 8:30 PST / 17:30 CET

We will focus on ‘How can data be utilised in new and innovative ways to help decarbonize cities? What are some of the best concrete examples of data application and what are some of the municipal challenges with using data? Where is the potential for Nordic - US collaboration?’

To help answer these questions, we have invited four highly qualified speakers:

·       Eric Jeansson, project manager for Virtual Gothenburg, the Digital Twin of the city

·       Monica Ek, Project leader Virtual Gothenburg Lab

·       Cyndy Comerford, Climate Program Manager, SF Environment, City & County of San Francisco

·       Kerrie Romanow, Chief Sustainability Officer, City of San Jose

Chelsea Collier, Founder of Digi.City, will moderate the session.

The event is free, open for everyone to join, so feel free to share the event with your co-workers or network.
